Positive thinking and affirmations can change your life
One of the most important teachings of the bible is “As You Think, So You Shall Be”. I also like to say, “As You Think, So It Shall Be”.
There is a natural progression from thought to word to deed. Positive thinking and positive affirmations affect our daily lives more than we know. What goes on in our minds creates everything that we experience in our lives.
Our thoughts are like radio waves that attract to us whatever it is we focus on with belief (strong positive emotion).
It’s extremely important to monitor our thoughts and stay focused on what we want to create.
For example, if we want to create good health, then we must stay focused on being healthy, not avoiding illness. If we want wealth, then we must stay focused on what having financial abundance feels like, not escaping poverty and so on.
Getting “WOW” begins in the mind. As women, we need to feed our minds positive thoughts about ourselves, our lives and the aging process.
We need to see ourselves growing better, fresher, healthier, more beautiful, and more prosperous: even if we are not all of that at the present time.
Norman Vincent Peale who wrote the best seller “The Power of Positive Thinking” said “Fake it ‘till you make it.”
I have counseled hundreds of client to do just that. This is the quickest way to make great positive changes in your life.
It is important to take the time to focus on what we truly want to create in our lives. Write it down by making an exact list. Write it in the present tense as if it’s already here and happening. Then have faith and as Dr. Wayne Dyer, author of The Power of Intention says, “patiently detach from the outcome”.
Plant positive thoughts in your mind, fertilize them with faith and patiently expect the right outcome.
Remember not to say one thing and think another. Consistency is the key. More simply put: don’t get in your own way of success, beauty, health and happiness.
